About Us
Kheight Inc is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to make research-evidence-based learning science and design more accessible. We bridge the gap between what research tells us about effective learning and what educators can realistically implement in their classrooms.
"We believe every learner deserves an education that helps them thrive, and every educator deserves the time, tools, and support to make that possible. Since 2024, we have been bringing this vision to life by helping translate what we know about how people learn into meaningful educational experiences."
How Kheight began
Founded by Maureen Isimbi and Gozie Nwaka, both graduates of Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Class of 2024, who studied design and technology in learning contexts.
Kheight grew out of the founders' shared interest in design, technology, and how people learn, and a shared belief that learning should be more human-centered.
Our experiences led us to a common question: What if we made it easier for educators to put the best of learning science into practice?
That question led to Kheight.
Today, we're desigining and developing practical tools and resources that help educators turn research into practice, spend less time navigating barriers, and more time creating meaningful learning experiences.
Turning learning science into practice
Evidence-Based Practice
We translate research-backed learning science and pedagogical approaches into accessible resources educators can understand and apply in real learning environments.
Co-Creating with Educators & Students
Educators and students are essential partners in shaping educational innovation. We listen to their experiences, learn from their challenges, and use their feedback to develop tools and resources grounded in real learning needs.
Building for Sustainable Impact
We combine accessible technology, practical resources, and community partnerships to help effective teaching practices reach more educators and expand access to meaningful learning opportunities.
Our approach is iterative: listen, co-design, test, learn, and improve.
